We have recently added two new Lindgren Pitman S-1200  deep drop electric reels to our arsenal.  These reels are rugged, easy to use, and are the top of the line in electric reels.  They make extreme deep water fishing fun and easy! 

How deep you ask?  How about 400' to 1200' deep!  It can be very productive when the right conditions are present.  This usually means light winds and light current.   A great way to try something different and add a little variety to your catch.  A typical catch consists of snowy grouper, yellowedge grouper, grey or golden tile, rose fish, queen snapper and other species.  These same LP electric reels can also be used for fishing swordfish at night or in the day time.  You just never know what might come up from the deep. 

This type of fishing is also good if your arms are sore after fighting fish in the conventional manner.  Just press a button and keep both hands free for important things like a beer or a cocktail.  The reels stop automatically at the surface with 1, 2, or sometimes 3 fish on the line!   Try it out, you will be amazed!

Because of the high cost of these reels and the terminal tackle, there is a charge of $250 rental fee for the use of both reels.  You will catch an edible fish, guaranteed, or you don't pay for the rental!
